Crazy Love

GOD IS LOVE. crazy, relentless all powerful love.  Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions? God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn’t working harder at a list of do’s and don’ts — it’s falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same.  Because when you’re wildly in love with someone, it changes everything.

We are beginning a 10 week study of the book Crazy Love written by Francis Chan on Sunday, January 9, 2011.  Please plan to join us as we discuss this challenging book in each of our small groups.  The Sunday sermons will be connected with the book.  You’ll find resources for this study here.

  1. Mark Lowe says:

“If we have never had the experience of . . . getting rid of all the undue familiarity with which we approach God, it is questionable whether we have ever stood in his presence. The people who are flippant and familiar are those who have never yet been introduced to Jesus Christ.”
Not my words, this is something I read today from My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers and it complimented Chapter 1 of Crazy Love.

  2. Absolutely loved this chapter, and absolutely loved the sermon for chapter 5. Matthew 21:28, the parable of the two sons came to mind for me….the son who said No to working in the vineyard, but repented, and the one who said Yes and did nothing…..

  3. Anybody who sees this, follow the link….It is a great clip by francis chan.
