The Well
This began as just one sermon on John 4, but I felt lead to return to the same chapter for a second sermon the next week. It is the story of the conversion of the Samaritan woman who met Jesus at the well. She was surprised to meet a man who could see her inside and out. The first message is about worship, because she came to know who Jesus was. The second message is about witness. This woman went into the town and told everyone about Jesus. Her testimony was so compelling that many went out to the well so that they could meet this man she believed to be the Messiah. Most of us could use a little help in the areas of worship and witness.
